Dancing

Every time I check my email all I see is SPAM. Which is disgustingly morbid because I get at least five emails a day. I don't know where all this junk mail is coming from, but it's really pissing me off.

I got my hair cut yesterday. It looks great, as usual. My hair dresser, Linda, is really nice and I've always been happy with my hair after she's cut it. My hair's a bit shorter than usual and layered in the front and a little in the back. In short I love it and it has greatly brightened my week.

D and I are going to visit UCB tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about it because I've heard that the campus is big and I don't like urban areas usually. But it's also a fantastic school, so I might as well check it out since it's so close to home.

I find it interesting that many people desperately want to get as far away from their home and parents when they leave for college. I'm glad I'm not like that. I love my family and my home and I'd much rather live in the same state. I'm very independent and already make a lot of the decisions in my life. I'm not worried about being away from home when I leave, but at the same time I'd rather be at a school that is in the same state mainly because I like California, the friends I've made here, and just the general atmosphere. I've liked all the schools I've looked at over here so far. I am planning to spend a year either in England or France in college. Maybe having done a big move once, I'd rather stay in this part of the world for most of my college life. Plus, it is comforting to know that home is a few hours away if I need anything or, more importantly, if they need me. I'm also thinking about Michael. He's growing so fast, and I'm going to miss a lot of that once I move. The ability to visit home every once in a while, is extremely important to me. That would be more difficult to do over on the east coast for example.

I love how my baby brother dances. He waves his arms about, bounces up and down, and laughs hysterically. And he looks around to see if anyone else is dancing too and if they are he smiles at them with all seven of his tiny teeth.
